Muchos de nuestros alumnos/as se han inscrito en la Carrera Urbana de Carabanchel que se va a celebrar el Domingo 10 Junio a partir de las 9.00 hrs.

Lugar: vía Lusitana
Horario pruebas infantiles:
- 10:45 h: CHUPETÍN (2007 y siguientes) 200 m.
- 11:15 h: MINIBENJAMíN (2004 a 2006) 300 m.
- 11:35 h: CADETE (1996 y 1997) 2,5 km.
- 12 h: INFANTIL (1998 y 1999) 1,5 km.
- 12:25 h: ALEVÍN (2000 y 2001) 1,1 km.
- 12:50 h: BENJAMÍN (2002 y 2003) 500 m.
Chupetines: Salida en la Avda. Vía Lusitana, nº 1, a la altura de la entrada a “Cotorruelo”.
Minibenjamines: Salida en la Avda. Vía Lusitana, 150 m. por detrás de la salida de los Chupetines. Las niñas delante y los niños detrás.
Resto de pruebas infantiles: Salida en la Avda. Vía Lusitana, al otro lado de la Meta. Los recorridos estarán claramente señalizados a lo largo de la mencionada avenida y el personal de la organización distribuido a lo largo de ellos.

The telephone

Alexander Graham Bell  invented the telephone in 1876. He was  just 29 years old! Bell was in his laboratory. He talked to his assistant Mr. Watson ,who was in a different room, with his new  machine.

                                                         That's how he invented the telephone!

VUELTA CICLISTA JUNIOR

Los alumnos/as de 3º, 4º, 5º y 6º han participado por segundo año consecutivo en el programa educativo de la Vuelta Ciclista Junior. Primero se ha realizado una sesión teórica con el objetivo de conocer principalmente las normas de circulación para ciclistas. Posteriormente, hemos organizamos grupos para realizar la sesión práctica en el patio de nuestro colegio. Esta sesión ha consistido en un circuito donde cada alumno/a ha podido demostrar sus habilidades con la bicicleta.

Volcanoes...

What is a volcano?

 A volcano is a landform, usually a mountain where molten rock erupt through the surface of the planet.

Did you know that...?

The name volcano has its origin from the name of Vulcan, a god of fire in roman mythology.

There are three different types of volcanoes:

- Active: eruptions can be anytime and often.
- Dormant: has been a while since it has erupted, but could at any time.
- Extinct: it hasn't erupted in a very long, long time so it probably won't ever again.

"MI PRIMER DÍA EN EL POLIDEPORTIVO"

Con motivo de la próxima inauguración del nuevo polideportivo del colegio, hemos realizado un concurso de creatividad y originalidad relacionado con el área de Educación Física.

Dicho concurso ha consistido  en la realización de un dibujo en el que cada alumno/a propone una o varias actividades que les gustaría realizar en su primer día en el polideportivo.

Debido a la gran cantidad de participantes (alumnos/as de 4º y 5º de Primaria) y la calidad de la mayoría de los dibujos, la elección de los ganadores (los dos mejores de cada curso) es muy complicada, aunque finalmente han sido seleccionados aquellos dibujos que  definen con gran detalle la clase de Educación Física.

Los dibujos finalistas y sus ganadores fueron:

 No obstante, el resto de dibujos participantes, junto con los finalistas, serán expuestos más adelante para decorar nuestro espacio dedicado a la actividad física.

Próximamente los alumnos/as de 6º de Primaria tendrán también la oportunidad de participar en este concurso.
